A Little Treasure
Mermaid portrait for Phil Velasquez.

The Idea:
A total nude mermaid.

Description of mermaid:
She is partially out of the water, and she
does have fins behind her ears.
She is covered in scales.
While she does have scales on her neck,
she does not have scales on her face.
Her hair to appear wet.
The mermaid is wearing a simple gold
headband she found many years ago.
Part of her mermaid tail is sticking out
of the water along with her tail-fin.
Its also her natural skin color and of
course covered in scales.
She is holding a necklace in one or
both hands.

Description of Scene:
She is holding the mermaid necklace
in one hand or both hands, she is gazing
at the necklace. laying on a rock is a small
open clam... she uses this clam as a sort
of treasure chest, also in this clam are a
few coins and jewels... but most inportant
there is a gold heart shaped pendent, a
present from her family before the
transformation.

The Story:

She was a young pearl diver diving for
pearls when she found the necklace
sitting in a clam. She was warned to
stay away from such enchanting items
that she might find. Alas, the necklace
was too tempting and she put the
necklace on and was transformed into
a mermaid. Many years later she hopes
someday to return to being human, for
now she spends her time in chilling
waters wishing for the day she will
return to her family, have a warm meal,
and sleep by the fireplace.
